Mental Health and Wellbeing

Here at St Oswald’s, we recognise the importance of good Mental Health.

We are committed to looking after our  Mental Health and Wellbeing.  In school, 4 pupils are trained Anti Stigma Ambassadors. They promote looking after our brains- keeping ourselves fit and active and healthy. All staff at St OSwald's have responsibility for Mental Health and wellbeing however Miss Birt  is our Subject Lead/Ambassador for this area.

In February 2020, our Breakfast Church focused on Mental Health and Wellbeing and ‘Being Brave!’

In February 2021 we focused on ways to Express Ourselves and thought very carefully about what we feel on the inside is not always shown on the Outside and we recognised this by holding an ‘Inside Out Day’

Each Wednesday is our Well Being Wednesday day. We have focused lessons thinking about our mental Health and wellbeing.

We are all trying to stay healthy- looking after our mental health is so important.
